Creative Pilgrimage: June 2025-May 2026

This year, I’m letting my faith shape how I live—and how I create. I’ve known what I believe for a long time. But I didn’t think I could build a life around it. I thought I was too queer, too damaged, too far from home.

But grace is stubborn. Over time, I’ve stopped trying to prove I belong and started showing up as I am—with honesty, with care, with a heart that wants to serve.

This isn’t a project. It’s a rhythm. I move through the church calendar month by month—reading, making, praying. I draw. I write. I sit still. Some of what I make gets shared. Most of it doesn’t. That’s not the point. The point is staying close to the Spirit.

Letting creativity be devotion, not a way to check out.

Beginning again. Slowly. Faithfully. Honestly. Willing to go into the world rooted in my faith, open to learning from others.

If you’ve ever felt like an outsider and still believed your gifts mattered—you’re in good company.

This is how I keep going.
