Creative Pilgrimage: June 2025-May 2026

This year, I’m letting my faith shape how I live—and how I create. I’ve known what I believe for a long time, but I didn’t think I could build a life around it. I thought I was too queer, too damaged, too far from home.

But grace is stubborn. Over time, I’ve stopped trying to prove I belong and started showing up as I am—with honesty, with care, with a heart that wants to serve.

This isn’t a project. It’s a rhythm. I move through the church calendar month by month—reading, making, praying. I draw. I write. I sit still. Some of what I make gets shared. Most of it doesn’t, but that’s not the point. The point is staying close to the Spirit, letting creativity be devotion, not a way to check out.

If you’ve ever felt like an outsider and still believed your gifts mattered—you’re in good company.

This is how I keep going.
