Creative Pilgrimage: June 2025-May 2026

This year, I’m choosing to let my faith shape everything I do—including the way I create. For a long time, I knew what I believed. But I didn’t think I could build a life around it. I thought I was too queer, too scarred, too far from belonging.

But grace doesn’t give up. And slowly, I’ve stopped trying to prove myself and started learning how to show up—with honesty, with care, with a heart ready to serve.

This isn’t a project. It’s a practice. Each month, I move through the church calendar—reading, reflecting, making. I draw. I read. I write. I pray. I learn. Some of what I create might be shared. Much of it won’t. That’s not the point. The point is to live with intention, to stay close to the Spirit.

To let creativity be an act of devotion, not distraction.

To begin again—faithfully, slowly, truly. To go into the world guided by strong faith, willing to lovingly explore other world views.

If you’ve ever felt on the outside looking in and still believed you had something to offer, you’re not alone.

This is how I refuel and refocus.
