I’m Libby Clarke: artist, designer, teacher, and builder of tools for change. Through Stoneroller Cooperative and Go High Signs, I support changemakers with design and art rooted in care, courage, and community. I believe in beauty with a backbone.
Designer, Educator, Artist, and Creative Strategist
Libby Clarke is a designer, educator, and artist whose work centers on clarity, connection, and creative justice. With over 25 years of experience, she helps mission-driven organizations—schools, churches, nonprofits, and grassroots collectives—amplify their work through thoughtful design, strategic messaging, and community-centered communication.
Libby is the founder of Stoneroller Cooperative, a design practice focused on serving the public good through branding, websites, print campaigns, and creative strategy. She also creates inclusive graphics and learning tools, often offering them freely to teams doing vital work with limited resources. Her work blends professionalism with purpose, supporting organizations as they navigate growth, outreach, and identity.
As an educator, Libby has taught design, typography, and visual communication at institutions including Parsons School of Design, Fashion Institute of Technology, California State University, Northridge, and Saint Elizabeth University. Her teaching centers on accessibility, ethics, and the transformative power of reclaiming creative voice. She also mentors young artists preparing for college and leads hands-on workshops in design and printmaking across the U.S.
When not designing or teaching, Libby can often be found in her backyard garden, wrestling with weeds and growing dinner. She lives in northern New Jersey with her wife, daughter, and a compost pile that knows all her secrets.
