Prayers in Passing
These are collected prayers I have written for others.

A Prayer for those who face divided times

God of truth and mercy,
steady us in these divided times.
Give us courage to live without fear,
clarity to see the world as it is,
and restraint to meet difference with compassion, not contempt.

Harden our resolve against injustice,
especially where power and greed pretend to be inevitable.
In the noise, the fury, and the falsehoods,
teach us to be still—and then to act with purpose.

Make us instruments of your peace,
rooted in justice,
for your glory alone,
Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.

Amen.
