Photography

I use photography as a way to stay awake to the world. Whether digital or analog, it helps me pay attention—to light, shape, gesture, and the small, unrepeatable moments that would otherwise slip past. I don’t chase perfection. I aim for presence. Photography fuels my creative practice, grounds my thinking, and keeps me honest as an artist.

The Big Picture

For seven years, I took one Polaroid picture a day. Just one. No second chances, no retakes. I called it The Big Picture project, and it was my self-imposed photography school. The rules were simple: one shot, and I could only adjust the levels when posting it. That daily ritual taught me how to see—really see—and shaped the way I approach all my work. I still return to instant film whenever I need to recalibrate.
