College TeachingAs a professor of design and visual communication, I’ve taught at institutions including Parsons School of Design, FIT, and Seton Hall University. My classes combine practical skills with critical inquiry—students learn not just how to design, but how to think. I focus on inclusive pedagogy, emphasizing student voice, ethics, and creative resilience in a rapidly changing industry.

Stop Motion Animations

During the pandemic, I found that stop motion animations were a wonderful way to get students excited about sequential art. I continue to find the students produce wonderful work!

Brunetti Method Comics

I have found that priming students to sequential art through the use of the Brunetti method of cartooning is a huge boost!

Protest Posters through Consensus

Accordion Books

I use this as a means to start the conversation about narrative, leading to storyboards, animation, and more!

Web Design to Save the World

Using altruistic urges, students did research, designed apps, and built prototypes they could then take out into the world to build.
